To all of our fans, players and staff,
As you are aware, due to the domino effect of the N.J.Lions suspending operations for 2012,the C.P.Piranha,Lehigh Valley Storm moving to the GDFL, and the NEPA Miners going to the RAFL, we decided to return to the BNEFF and Major,League Football.
This is, in our opionion the best move for us this year. We look forward to competing with all the "reloaded" teams of the BNEFF. Based on the MLF staffs comments, they believe we can be in the mix for a BNEFF Championship this year, as do I. The key will be the comittment to conditioning and learning Sams' playbooks, as well as his techniques. Proper preperation will be the difference maker this year. Don't let a lax attitude by anyone, affect the dedication to bettering yourself. We will only be as strong as our weakest link. Don't you be that weak link! What we do NOW will make the difference ALL year! LET'S GET IT DONE! |

The new year looks very bright for the 2012 Philadelphia Phoenix. Many things have changed in the last 30 days. Bob Weldon and I made the decision to vacate the MLF and to, along with the Piaranha,Miners,Lions, and Storm to create the Elite Football Association(www.efa1.com). This was done to further enhance the Phoenix and minor league football and move it in the direction that Bob and I envisioned when we got involved last year. We are currently working on a potential new home field. We are blessed with Sam Jenkins as our head coach and he is putting together an exceptional staff. This will allow us to continue to teach techniques and better develope all of our players. Please stay tuned for our updated press releases, and information regarding player signings, tryouts, and practice schedule.
To all our players and their families, please have a terrific Holiday Season, and may the New Year bring the Best of Health and Wealth to you and your loved ones!
God Bless and Merry Christmas. |

To the Phoenix Family and our fans,
I want to thank the MLF, our opponents and most importantly the entire Phoenix organization for a terrific first season! It's official that our season is over. We tried 3 different leagues' and 4 teams for our final game but we had no takers. The objective this year was two fold; first was to get into the playoffs, the second was to set a standard of professional conduct that would open the eyes of the football community. We missed on the first objective but nailed the second. During the year, the conduct of our players and staff was a work in progress. .It started slow, but as our team understood what being a Phoenix was about, you embraced it and flew to new heights. We have had officials, coaches, and other owners praise the way you handled yourselves both on and off the field.Bob,Sam,the other coach's and I couldn't be more proud of you!
We said from the start, that we would treat you as a professional. I hope you feel we have done so. We took no money from you other than your initial tryout fee. We loaned you all the equipment that you used this year with the understanding that you would return it to us at the conclusion of the year. The coaching staff will be at our practice field this Tuesday October 11th to collect the practice gear and the "borrowed" 2 helmets, and the jersey. I will be discussing with you the upcoming off season training, life skills training and a possible banquet as well as the time table for the DVD release date. I expect ALL of the team(entire 50 man roster) to show on Tuesday. For the few players currently in college they can call me to make arrangements. We've kept our word and I expect you to keep yours! |

Jahquel,
We hope you are doing well, we haven't seen or heard from you for so long. We expect you to return our practice uniform (jersey, shorts, and practice pants) as you agreed to do at the beginning of the season. We prefer to have them returned clean and in the same condition that we gave them to you to use. That is of course, if you are a man of your word and consider yourself a man of character. As always, we welcome any and all challenges that are played professionally within the lines of the football field. We certainly hope that whatever team you play on, they will qualify to play in our league. |

To the entire 50 man roster of the Philadelphia Phoenix,
Philadelphia football has always had a unique reputation, one that was deserved and created over a long period of time.
We, as an organization, boldly took on the task of creating a new and distinctly different type of organization. Each member of the team took to the task at hand and you succeeded. While our record doesn't reflect the overall effort or success of our first year, the feedback from referee's, owners and coaches and league officials from around the Mlf and other leagues certainly reflects well on all of you. Every representative has mentioned our team as the most professional team that they have seen from Philadelphia. We need to continue this positive process by finishing this season on a high note. We need each of the 50 man roster to show up Thursday and Saturday, so that we can evaluate for next season, and show the other teams in the Philadelphia area, that we finish what we start. I want to share two definitions for you to embrace. Committment is following through with a goal, long after the spirit in which it was made has left you. Character is doing the right thing even when nobody is watching. I know each of you has both the Character and Committment to finish what we started. Thank You for being a Phoenix and representing us, as an organization so well. Bob and I Thank You and we'll see you Thursday. |

Well guys, I hope you enjoyed your road trip tonight. As Bill told you, tonight we showed that we're not only talking the talk but we're walking the walk. You have no idea how many things we are working on right now. The stadium, the xenith helmets, the uniforms, all of those things are just the tip of the iceberg. So get out there, take your season ticket orders, learn your playbooks, LISTEN to your coaches and commit to being the best. Let's do this together, for we are ONE. Because WE ARE........PHOENIX !!!! |

Phoenix family,
Its only as matter of time until were underway for this season. i know people have work and other commitments but we need to do our best to make it out everytime we can. We have to understand that being a member of this elite organization means that we are expected to give our all till we can go anymore. Pick up a... brother when falling down. Motivating the guy next to you so we all achieve the same goals. We are only as strong as our weakest link and we will not have a weak link. We will all line up together and everman will be inshape. We work hard there is no stopping this train. Im riding till the wheels fall off. This is my dedication. Lets hear what the rest of the team has to say because at the end we all are PHOENIX......... |

Whats up guys? I was on the first year team of Tacony Eagles until things happened and I had to lose my roster spot being away. I was a free safety for the team. I wish I could play again but had an A/C seperation in my shoulder and have had 2 surgeries. I have a fusion plate in there and can never play semi-pro again. Though it kills me inside I can't play, it feels great to see what the team and organization has become over the years! I wish you guys the best! |
